AAUA RELEASES SUPPLEMENTARY POSTGRADUATE admission FORM, 2024/2025

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into our Full-Time Postgraduate programmes as indicated below for the 2024/2025 academic session.

A. FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE

DEPARTMENT OF FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE

M.Ac., M.Phil./Ph.D. and Ph.D. Degree Programmes in Fisheries and Aquaculture in the following areas of specialization.

B. DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT

PGD, M.Sc., M.Phil./Ph.D. and Ph.D. Degree Programmes in Forestry and Wildlife Management in the following areas of specialization.

METHODS OF APPLICATION

Candidates are required to log on to our website at http://www.pgs.aaua.edu.nghttp://www.pgs.aaua.edu.ng and pay through ONLINE VIA DEBIT CARD ONLY ON UNIFIED PAY PLATFORM for a sum of twenty thousand Naira (N20,000.00). Thereafter, submit and print a copy of the application to be able to sit for the qualifying examination at a date to be announced later.

You are expected to submit hard copy of the printed application form to your intended Department and two hard copies to the Secretary Postgraduate School.

DURATION OF PROGRAMMES

All Master's degree programmes take a minimum of a year and half (three Semesters) and a maximum of three years (six Semesters) for full-time candidates. The Doctor of Philosophy degree programme takes a minimum of three years (six semesters) and a maximum of five years (ten semesters) for full-time candidates.

In addition to the admission requirements, every candidate in regular employment must submit with his/her application, a formal letter of release for Postgraduate Studies issued by his/her employer.

Furthermore, all applicants who are not graduates of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, must request their former Universities or Institutions to forward directly to the Secretary, Postgraduate School, the academic transcripts of their first degrees or Master degrees, with respect to applicants for Master and Doctoral Degrees respectively.

Closing Date

This application shall close after Six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.

STUDY CENTRESThere are two study centre: Akure and Akungha

1. The Akure Study Centre is St. Thomas Aquinas College, Akure. Ondo State

2. . The Akungha Study Centre is the Campus of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Alcão, Ondo State

APPLICATION FEES

Postgraduate (Master and Postgraduate Diploma) = N20,000.

Undergraduate = N12,500

Diploma = 10,000.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Visit https://eduportalaaua.edu.ng/aug/applicationshttps://eduportalaaua.edu.ng/aug/applications Click on "Advertisement Documents" to download the full advertisement, which has the Admission Requirements and the Study Centres for each course. Please, read the Admission Requirements carefully and be sure that you have the admission requirements of the course before you apply. Please, consider the Study Centre, before you choose a course.

2. Click on "Apply Now" and click on "Create Account" to create account and commence the application process.

3. Login to your account using your username and password.

4. Click on "Payment Method" and then click on "Pay Now" and select your desired programme (e.g. Master's, Postgraduate Diploma, Undergraduate, or Diploma).

5. When you click on "Make Payment Now" you would be directed to ETRANZACT, which is the Payment Gateway.

Step A: (1) Click pay now (ii) Make payment through ATM Card or Transfer options (Credo) (iii) Click pay

Step B: In case of transaction failure, click on Get Transaction, conform your payment.

Step C: Click on fill Application Form, fill in your data as required and submit.

Step D: Click View Now and print your Acknowledgement Slip.

6. Your Bank would automatically send a Token (a set of numbers) to you.

7. Use the Token to authenticate and complete your payment.

Note: Please, you do not need to bring your printed form to our office in Akungba. Short-listing would be done online. All candidates offered admission would be added to a Whatsapp platform. Applicants are advised to use their Whatsapp numbers.
