UDUSOK APPROVED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2024/2025 SESSION 

This is to inform the entire University community that the attached Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 Academic Session has been approved. This calendar serves as a guide for planning academic activities throughout the session. The details of the Calendar have been provided below;

First Semester

Registration for New Students : Monday 16 December 2024 to Saturday 11 January 2025.

Registration for Returning Students: Monday 30 December 2024 to Saturday 11 January 2025.

Lectures Begin: Monday 13 January 2025 to Saturday 1 March 2025.

Mid-Semester Break : Monday 3 March 2025 to Saturday 8 March 2025. 

Lectures Continue: Monday 10 March 2025 to Saturday 19 April 2025.

Semester Examinations: Monday 21 April 2025 to Saturday 17 May 2025.

End of Semester Activities: Monday 19 May 2025 to Saturday 7 June 2025.

Second Semester

Lectures Begin: Monday 9 June 2025 to Saturday 26 July 2025.

Mid-Semester Break: Monday 28 July 2025 to Saturday 2 August 2025.

Lectures Continue: Monday 4 August 2025 to Saturday 13 September 2025.

Semester Examinations: Monday 15 September 2025 to Saturday 11 October 2025.

End of Session Activities: Monday 13 October 2025 to Saturday 8 November 2025.

Beginning of New Academic Session The 2025/2026 session will begin. Date: Monday 10 November 2025.

Public Holidays

Christmas Day: Wednesday 25 December 2024.

Boxing Day: Thursday 26 December 2024.

New Year’s Day: Wednesday 1 January 2025.

Id-el-Fitr: Monday 31 March 2025.

Good Friday: Friday 18 April 2025.

Easter Monday: Monday 21 April 2025.

Workers’ Day: Thursday 1 May 2025.

Id-el-Kabir: Saturday 7 June 2025.

Democracy Day: Thursday 12 June 2025.

Id-el-Maulud: Friday 5 September 2025.

National Day: Wednesday 1 October 2025.
